Ted Forrest is possibly one of the most enigmatic figures on the professional poker world. Known primarily as a high stakes cash game player since starting his professional career in 1987, Forrest has been known to travel great distances to get into a good poker game with soft competition and large pocketbooks.
A veteran of "The Corporation," a group of top professional players that challenged Texas banker Andy Beal to a series of high stakes battles, Forrest is considered one of the most consistent players on a team that included legends like Doyle Brunson and Jennifer Harman.
Despite his reputation as a dominant cash game player, Forrest also has a long list of tournament achievements including winning three World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets in 1993. After achieving enormous success against his competition on the tournament circuit in the early 1990s, Forrest decided to focus on cash games but returned to the tournament scene with phenomenal results including winning two WSOP bracelets in 2004, making three World Poker Tour (WPT) final tables, and most recently, winning a Professional Poker Tour title.
Considered one of the best Stud players in the world, Forrest has switched his focus to Hold'em and hasn't looked back. Having earned over $3.8 million in career tournament winnings, Forrest continues to play poker at the highest levels and limits making him a threat in whatever game he chooses to play.
