Professional Poker Player and Speaker Men Nguyen

Men Nguyen earned his nickname, "The Master," through teaching players his playing philosophies. Men Nguyen discovered poker while on a trip to Las Vegas and was intrigued by the game and studied it meticulously to master it by playing every day and analyzing himself as a player. In 1992, all of the studying finally paid off and Men Nguyen took home his first World Series of Poker bracelet in Seven Card Stud.

Since then Men Nguyen has added five more WSOP bracelets. In 2005, Men "The Master" Nguyen lived up to his name once again finding himself atop of the CardPlayer Player of the Year standings making a late-year charge at the title. Men Nguyen previously won the prestigious award in 1997, 2001 and 2002. Along with the player of the year awards, Men "The Master" Nguyen has made 36 WSOP final tables and leads all other players by cashing 49 times in the WSOP.
