Josh Arieh is a two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner as well as a World Poker Tour (WPT) finalist. Josh won his first World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet in the 1999 Limit Hold'em event and in 2004, Josh placed third to David Williams and Greg Raymer at the main event of the WSOP, earning an unprecedented $2.5 million dollars in the process.
Having played poker for over 14 years, Arieh is no stranger to competition. Playing an average of 12 or more championship events a year, he is a fixture on the tournament circuit and is considered a tough high-limit cash game player who specializes in No Limit, Limit, Pot Limit, and Omaha 8-or-better.
Arieh has earned over $4.2 million in career tournament winnings as well as making 14 final table appearances during his career to date. His aggressive style and stellar finishes have earned him a spot as a Bodog.com player representative and the respect of his peers.
Arieh's most recent tournament win came with his first-place finish in the 2006 Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker Tournament, where he collected $500,000. Featured on ESPN, Fox Sports, and The Discovery Channel, Arieh is an often-recognized player whose likeness is also featured in the popular video game, "Stacked with Daniel Negreanu."
