John Phan
Professional Poker Player and Speaker John Phan
John Phan first learned how to play poker at the young age of 16, and in just five years time he was already an accomplished professional learning valuable traits that would help his poker ability. It would be this training that would propel John Phan to the top of the CardPlayer Player of the Year race in 2005. He finished 2nd, but his mark on the poker world was made. John Phan's remarkable 2005 began with a third place finish in the $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em event at the Jack Binion World Poker open. Just a month later, John Phan followed it up a victory in a $2,425 No-Limit Hold'em event at the LA Poker Classic. John Phan finished the year with nine final table appearances in 2005 which include a World Poker Tour final table, as well as, a World Series of Poker final table. Now at age 30, John looks to add more victories and final tables to his already impressive resume.
