Known worldwide as "Fossilman," Greg Raymer's claim to fame is his 2004 victory in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. Kicking off his professional career with a third-place finish at the World Poker Finals in 2000, Raymer developed his game online and live at Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut.

His life changed forever when he won a double-shootout satellite on the online site, PokerStars.com. He then turned his small victory into a $5million payday by defeating 2,576 opponents on his way to his WSOP victory.

Then he continued his stellar play, making the money in both WSOP and WPT events in 2005. His most recent accomplishment is his second-place finish in the PokerStars.com Million Dollar Guaranteed Event. Formerly an accountant, Raymer has had no problem applying his analytical skills to poker and is considered a top ambassador for the game.
