Erin Ness has been playing poker since she was a child. While Erin was attending college at Georgetown University, she used to play in three games a week. Erin now has her sights on the big game.
Erin Ness won her entry into the 2004 World Series of Poker when she won an office tournament. All of the employees of Maxim Magazine were invited to play in a company poker tournament, with the winner getting an all-expense paid trip, including the $10,000 buy-in to the main event of the WSOP. Erin said that she knew it was going to be her to represent Maxim.
During the event, Erin Ness captured the eyes of poker players around the world because of her sweet demeanor. Erin finished in the money (207th), the third highest female finisher in the 2004 main event with Rose Richie finishing 98th and Lucy Rokach finishing 159th.
Erin Ness also competed in the televised "Poker Royale: Young Bloods" poker tournament that was broadcast on the Game Show Network (GSN) featured David Williams, Michael Sandberg, Scott Fischman, Michael "the Grinder" Mizrachi, Erica Schoenberg and Ness. Erin finished second to David Williams.
