Poker has many personalities, but few can compete with the "E-Dog": Erick Lindgren. This 2004 World Poker Tour (WPT) Player of the Year is always hunting for action and shows no fear at the poker tables. A former All-League high school quarterback, he could have chosen from several careers, including one as a professional sports handicapper, but his choice to ultimately play tournament poker has paid big dividends for Erick.
Winning his first major tournament ($3,000 No Limit) at the Bellagio in Las Vegas in 2002, Lindgren followed up ten months later with his first WPT win at the UltimateBet.com Poker Classic II in late 2003. Not one to rest on his laurels, Lindgren took down his next WPT title in March of 2004 aboard the PartyPoker.com Million III Limit Hold'em tournament.
Lindgren then had a strong 2005, finishing first in the Professional Poker Tour Five-star World Poker Classic, second in the 2005 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit tournament in Atlantic City, and fifth in the WPT Los Angeles Poker Classic.
Continuing his monstrous run into 2006, Lindgren made 3 major final tables at the Bellagio, WSOP, and WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open. His latest achievement came in his victory over fellow poker professional during the $120,000 Full Tilt Poker Showdown held at Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas.
Having earned over $4.7 million in career tournament earnings, don't look for this Team Full Tilt member to stop his winning ways anytime soon.
