Born and raised in Switzerland, the former business man turned poker pro, Chris Bigler started playing poker in 1997 at the age of 48. Chris took poker by storm before the poker craze started. Chris Bigler has won several major tournaments in Europe and the USA. After only 2 years of playing poker, Chris won his first tournament in 1999. This was also the year he made his first Final Table appearance at a TV covered final table of the World Series of Poker Main Event where he ended up in 5th place.
Since then Chris Bigler has appeared on 5 more TV covered Final Tables, two at the WPT and two on the first season of PPT, where Chris also ended 6th in the overall ranking. Chris Bigler also spends his time as a senior online poker consultant for several major online poker sites.
