James earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and his Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School and is a licensed attorney and a former Adjunct Professor of Sports Law at Hamline University Law School.
In addition, James is a recipient of the Certificate in Sports Law from the National Sports Law Institute and a member of the Sports & Entertainment Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin. James previously worked at Imani Sports as an athlete agent representing Olympic ski and snowboard athletes.
